One of my private students is working with a shoulder injury. She is so committed to the practice and working to get stronger. Today, her 4th session, she really started to show improvements in her ability to abduct her arm. There was one little bit though, she needed, assistance-wise, to get her arm parallel to the floor (as in Warrior 2). She asked me for help and I just held my hand under her arm, as she worked the pose. Pure admiration for the strength of her spirit. Never complains, just works hard.
Thought for the day: wasted potential is a crying shame.
