Teacher Mentorship Program

mentorship

The Bare Bones Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program will support new and experienced teachers by providing specific modules that address common teaching challenges. Focused primarily on supporting teachers after completion of a formal Teacher Training program (although several modules are excellent for those that have yet to start a program), it is designed to support teachers in a highly customized, personal way. Teachers can select modules that provide training on a specific topic(s) and can also consider ongoing support through monthly or hourly mentoring around topics of their choosing.

As the yoga industry continues to grow, the proliferation of yoga training programs grows exponentially. While the increase provides more options, it makes the selection of a training program more challenging for aspiring teachers. Also, as studios work to meet the requirements of Yoga Alliance’s standards for 200 and 500 HR registered programs, time within these programs which is devoted to both the practical and more “hands-on” teaching topics is often skipped, either due to class size or time availability.

The goal of the Bare Bones Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program is to support new, would-be and experienced teachers with a combination of real life, practical modules on several different topics as well as modules that includes hands-on training and feedback to help you grow as a teacher. Several business modules are also included to help you navigate the increasingly complex yoga industry. Modules on teaching several specialty types of yoga, like Children and Family Yoga, are also included to provide support and basic training around these more customized programs.

Because the program is one-on-one and includes the option of monthly or hourly mentorship about topics of your choosing, it is a unique and highly personalized way to support teachers in their path and growth as a teacher.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU) for Yoga Alliance
