Today I’m going to go over a teaching topic around red flags that can arise when we’re teaching. By Red Flag, I mean something that, from an alignment perspective might be unsafe or create a position for the student where it’s hard for them to be steady in the pose. I’m not only going to review the red flag itself, I’m going to give you the anatomical reason behind each one so you can have a complete picture.

Hi Karen, thank you for providing lots of asana examples, it’s really useful to help mindfully visualize (not just ‘going through the motions’) what’s going on from an anatomical perspective both in my own practice and correcting in class.
