As teachers, we refer to pelvic movement a lot in our classes. Several poses require the pelvis tip forward, and some require the pelvis to tip back or to the side. In this episode, I review the movements the pelvis makes and how you can understand the anatomy and be skilled at cueing to it when you teach.
I also mention my free training that starts on 9/9 and runs on 9/9, 9/14 and 9/16, all at 2 pm ET. You can join these trainings by joining my special Facebook group called, “The Bare Bones Yoga Facebook Live Workshop Series.” Starting on 9/1, I’ll be sending everyone on my mailing list and via my social media all the details with links to join. In this series of 3 workshops, I’ll be covering the critical skills teachers are looking to build: How to cue, how to build sequences and how to answer student questions with confidence.
Hope to see you there!
