Grateful thought of the day: Working with Children

by admin on January 30, 2011

I get to do a fair amount of working with kids. Whether it’s reading in a creative storytime setting or teaching yoga, kids are a big part of my work. Even if I’m tired, they are always a great distraction to the pressures of being an adult. Their freedom, courage, willingness to express themselves fully and have fun is a total inspiration to be around. If you don’t have kids, like me, it’s essential to your health that you spend a little time with them (I believe). They remind me of the joys of being young and that keeps things in perspective.

Peace.

I am working on a website for a non-profit organization in New Haven CT and grabbed a copy this photo (the community outdoor yoga with hands in the air) to pop into a draft design as an example of the type of lively images I would like them to use. Everyone loved the photo and I’m wondering if they might get permission to use it.

Thanks.

Mary,

Thanks for the note! Of course you can use it, as long as you credit me, Karen Fabian, and mention my website URL. Thanks for asking!

Thanks,

Karen
